Distinctive Kentish Ales
For fans of real ale, The Britannia is a star attraction in itself. The ideal place to seek out a proper pint, the pub serves distinctive Kentish ales from Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, along with a range of international lagers and world wines.
It’s all to be enjoyed in our contemporary, open-plan lounge and bar (or outside on our spacious deck fit for our jam-packed events diary, where cosy fleece blankets allow your alfresco evening to go on long after the sun goes down).
There’s superb food here, too, with our kitchen serving a delicious range of traditional pub snacks and main meals every day. And, with a special menu for young diners, it’s one of the best pubs in Guildford to get together as a family.
